We collect only what we need to make and deliver your pieces, we tell you plainly who touches it and where it lives, and you stay in control throughout. This notice is written to be read.

To fulfil your order or commission: your name, email, WhatsApp number, delivery address, order details, and — for commissions — what you tell us about the piece, including any reference images you share.
To make gifts personal: recipient details and Love Letter messages you provide for Pill boxes. These are read only by the people preparing your box and are never used for anything else.
To take payment: payment confirmation from our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.
With your consent only: analytics and marketing cookies. Nothing optional loads before you agree — see “Cookies” below.
Our legal bases under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) are performance of a contract (your order), your consent (cookies, marketing), and our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site.
Three companies act as data processors on our behalf, each only for its purpose and on our instructions:
Shopify — our commerce infrastructure: it hosts product, order and customer records. Paystack — our payment processor: it handles your payment details so we never have to. Meta — advertising and social platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp): it processes data when you interact with us there, and its marketing tools run on this site only if you consent to marketing cookies.
Your personal data is transferred to and stored outside Nigeria — the processors above run their infrastructure internationally (including the United States and Europe). We rely on the safeguards the NDPA provides for such transfers, including processors’ contractual data-protection commitments, and we share the minimum each purpose needs.
Necessary cookies keep the site working (your cart, your consent choice). Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent, asked for before anything loads, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time:
Order and commission records are kept as long as we need them for the order itself, our accounts, and our legal obligations — then deleted. Love Letters and recipient details are kept only until the box is delivered and any return window has passed.
Under the NDPA you may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; to receive it in a portable form; and to withdraw any consent — as easily as you gave it. Write to empireevel@gmail.com and we will respond promptly. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
